NOKIA OZO

Nokia Ozo is ready for pre orders. Don't know what the Ozo is? Neither did I until I stumbled upon this weird looking thing that they claimed was a virtual reality professional camera. Of course my curiosity got the best of me and I researched it.
The Nokia Ozo is the world's first professional VR camera. It comes with a price tag of $60K with an initial deposit of $5K. Thats some serious coins. The Ozo uses eight 2K x 2K cameras that capture footage at 30 fps (frames per second) as well as what Nokia is calling 360 x 360 surround sound. It works wirelessly and records both video and audio to a single file, which is stored on a 500GB solid state drive (SSD). The digital cartridge ($5k) provides 45 minutes of recording time. The idea here is to mirror what you see and hear with seamless footage.  The Ozo is wireless so you will be able mount it and fly it with a drone set up. The Ozo has a wireless setup allowing you to view the 8 cameras in realtime.
The Ozo seems to be head and shoulders ahead of its competition. The only question that I have is, will people adapt to this technology and what to spend major money on this camera. If I had it I would want to get my hands on one.
I have posted two videos below that will give you a better understanding of the Nokia Ozo.
